Thanks for being part of the Great Plymouth Pub Roam
This is a city wide, self guided pub experience designed to encourage people to explore different areas of Plymouth on foot and support local pubs along the way
There is no competition, no prizes, and no expectation on pace or drinking. It is simply a guide for people to follow as they choose
Over the Easter weekend, you may have customers arrive with a printed “passport”. Each passport contains a list of pubs within a specific route, including yours. When someone visits your pub, they may ask for their passport to be marked
When a customer presents their passport, find your pub name within the passport and mark the circle next to your pub using a pen or stamp. That’s all that’s required. If you also want to post on your Facebook page (or share a post from the Plymouth on Tap page) about your opening times over the weekend, that would help. I’d also be happy to share that information out too.
A simple pen tick is perfect, there is no need for stamps or anything official, there is no need to track visits or record names, there is no prize or reward for completing a route, and there is no expectation for customers to visit every pub. Additionally, there is no pressure on staff to promote or manage the activity.
The aim is to gently encourage footfall across a wide range of pubs in Plymouth. Some customers may stay for one drink, some may stay longer and some may simply pop in to explore somewhere new.
Plymouth on Tap wouldn’t be what it is without the sponsors who get behind it and back the bigger ideas, so a huge thank you to every business that’s already supported the project and helped keep it moving. Your support helps cover the real costs of running it properly, and it means I can keep shining a light on Plymouth’s pubs, telling their stories, and giving the local hospitality scene the attention it deserves.

If you fancy putting your name behind something people actually care about, I’m always up for chatting about sponsorship for events like a pub crawl or the annual Plymouth’s Favourite Pub competition, which reached 6.9 million views on the Facebook page in 2025. Drop me a message and I’ll send over the options.
